Serious messages without another lecture.
The Choices We Make uses discussion, real-life perspective, simple decision tools and interactive scenarios to help young people think about where their choices can lead.

Dean Dallison
Public-service experience • Professional entertainer & presenter
Dean brings together experience in public service with more than 25 years of live entertainment and performance. The programme is designed to communicate serious ideas in a way that is direct, engaging and easy to remember.
For older pupils, custodial experience can be used carefully to explain the reality of losing choices and opportunities. That element is intended to remain general, anonymised, age-appropriate and subject to employer and school approval.
Engage. Educate. Inspire. Empower.
Engage
Start with questions and situations young people recognise.
Educate
Explain choices and consequences in language that fits the age group.
Inspire
Make positive choices feel practical and achievable rather than abstract.
Empower
Leave pupils with tools they can use after the workshop has finished.
Your next choice matters.
The programme does not suggest that one mistake ruins a future. Young people are encouraged to understand consequences, take responsibility and make a better next choice when they get something wrong.
That matters because prevention is stronger when it includes hope, second chances and a realistic route forward.
“Success doesn’t come from where you start. Success comes from what you do next.”
